Scott Crueger

Scott Crueger is an award winning television photo-journalist.  Crueger has won three Emmy Awards for his work, including one for his role as the editor and associate producer for “Return to Mt. St. Helen’s” a documentary that explores the eruption through the eyes of those who survived the blast. He also has won numerous awards for his work from organizations such the Society of Professional Journalists.

Crueger has been with KIRO-TV in Seattle for many years, first as an intern in 1985. He then was hired as a news librarian, a photo-journalist and is currently the chief photographer for the station. Crueger attended Highline from 1981-86 and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington.
