Sandra Cravens Robinson
Sandra Craven Robinson's achievements are many: nearly 50 years in nursing, 20 years in the military, and several academic degrees. A woman of profound faith, she feels called to serve others. Sandra was the only student of color in the first graduating class of Highline College's Nursing program in 1966 and views Highline as a crucial starting point in her life. She went on to earn bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing and a master's degree in theology. Now at 72, she is pursuing her doctorate in psychology from California Southern University. During her celebrated military career she served as Dean of the Army's sole psychiatric program. Sandra retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. After the Army, she continued in nursing and now works part time in a private practice. She is an evangelist missionary serving in her local congregation, the district, and the state.
